1. You must link Globe Listings. You must keep that link up. If at any time it is removed, then your listing here at Globe will also be removed. You link us; we link you. Linking is for your benefit. The more people that see Globe’s link, the more people that will visit Globe, the more people will visit your diary/site. It’s a very beneficial concept.


2. This may sound silly, but please have the link clearly labeled. If you hide it away in some entry or on a page that’s totally unrelated, then we’ll just delete you from the listings. We don’t have all day to search for links when we do link searches. If we can’t find them, how do you expect anyone else to? Therefore, here are the acceptable places to put a link: on your main layout, on a links page, on a listings page, or on an extras page. Make it simple, please. This means you are not allowed to link us: in an entry, on a rings page (we're not a ring!), on an affiliates page (we're not affiliates), on a reviews page (we're not a review site), etc.


3. Locked diaries are not allowed. If your diary is locked, why have it listed anyways? That’s kind of foolish. If you are listed and we come upon a locked diary while doing a link check, then your diary will be deleted. You must resubmit to have your diary re-listed if that happens.


4. All servers, domains, and hosts are allowed. We accept all diaries except ones containing hard-core pornography. If you write erotica, then that’s fine. Please do not have diaries with tons of pornographic images either. Go ahead and submit your diary/site if you feel that it’s tasteful, but if we feel it’s not then you will not be added.


5. If you decide to move your diary/site or it’s under reconstruction, please be sure to still keep the link up and visible. It’s not fair for us to advertise your site for you when you can’t even keep up a link back to us.


6. Please be kind and tell us if you close your diary or move. There is a form set aside for that. Using that form you can switch categories, update your listing, delete listing, or make corrections.


7. Try to keep your diary updated. If we check your diary and there has been no activity in over two months and there is no posted notice (Example- “Sorry. I’ll be away at camp for several weeks.”) then your diary will be deleted from our listing even if you have up the link. We are trying to keep this site as updated as possible, so please understand. If your diary does get deleted, just re-apply whenever you start updating again.


Globe is working towards being the most updated, well kept, friendliest, and up to date listing site out there. Please help us by being respectful and following our rules.
